Bring your photo to the next level through scrapbooking

I have seen many mommy have already enjoying the digital scrapbooking, every time i visit their site i admit i got envy, first of their beautiful scrap pieces, second is their creativity. When i started blogging i forgot everything about it, my husband gave me software where i can play with the photo's. I remember my sister-in-law and my husband giggled because of what they did with the photo's of the kids, distorted and change the hair etc...it's fun, but one thing that i have enjoyed in that software is that i can do scrapbooking, i was busy playing with the software and when I'm satisfied i printed it, famed it and now hanged in he's bedroom.

Home Beauty Recipe Alternatives Cheap, Quick and Easy

I was thinking of posting about something today but i don't have enough information so i will just leave it next time.

In my previous post make-over from your own kitchen, i have listed a few recipe's about beautification :D -- for skin, face etc...and now i have decided to add few list...This are great alternatives which can be done from your own kitchen and home instead of going to spa and buying expensive moisturizer.

I am addicted into magazines and yoga, food, home decorations and beauty books, i remember i jotted down some beauty recipe's which is in my notebook. I will share them to you. Beauty doesn't need to be really expensive it's just how you take care of your skin, there are many alternatives which is very cheap and quick to make.

Old Fashion Oatmeal - I will start with this one, this is not in my notebook though but i think i will include this one. This is a quick application that will reduce redness and improve your complexion.

Mix Old Fashion Oats with water to form a paste, when it's done you can now start applying the Oat paste to your face and leave it on for Fifteen minute, then wash your face with lukewarm water.


It's quick, easy and the recipe is just sitting in your kitchen. It's not just for cold winter morning isn't it.

Green Tea Mask is one of the favorite mask of many celebrity's costing $35-$65, you probably are using them already.

Creamy Green Tea Mask Ingredients:
  • 1 Tea Bag of green tea
  • 2 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
How to:
  1. Boil the green tea bag in 1/4 cup of water until it has boiled down to 1 tablespoon, then cool in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix all other ingredients for about 30-60 seconds until well blended.
  3. Stir in Cooled green tea concentrate.
  4. Spread mixture over cleansed skin and leave on for 15 minutes.
  5. When the 15 minutes is over you can now Rinse your face with warm water.
    You can now follow with your other beauty regiments such as toner, moisturizers etc...
Remember: This is a soft mask, and will not dry on your skin.

Puffy Eyes is became more and more concern of bloggers ( I say this because i have now puffy eyes, that fat thing under my eye!) lack of sleep dropping Ecards LOL! anyway, i have here quick and easy to follow to remove those puffy eyes of yours.

Eye Cream Home Alternative Ingredients:
  • 2 potato slices
  • Chamomile tea
  • Aloe vera gel
How to:
  1. Slice one small piece off of a potato
  2. Soak in Chamomile tea and,
  3. Dip in aloe vera gel
  4. Put one slice under each eye and leave them there for 20 minutes.
This is an alternative of a cucumber aswell. Potato are rich with alpha lipoic acids(ALA) and safe to use under your eyes.

"ALA - Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is the only antioxidant that is both fat and water soluble. This is important because Alpha Lipoic Acid can access all parts of the cell, giving it tremendous ability to trap free radicals wherever they may be"

This is what i learned that i can share too!
  • If you want you skin to look fresh, soft and plump take a peach, cut the meat off of it, and smoosh it into pulpy paste. Smooth that on your face and lie down for a few minutes or for easy and quick you can just slice the peaches and put them on your face. You can get Vitamin C from Peaches.
  • No one wants redness on their face. Take an egg yolk and add a few drops of fresh lemon that's in your garden and smear this into your face for a few minutes and get the read out.
  • Tighten your face with egg white, drop it with lemon, before you take shower smear this on your face down to your breasts.
You can now start using this alternatives, the best with this recipes is that they are just available in our own kitchen, lower than $35 which is probably the lowest price of Quality and branded facial cream you can buy.

Diet Me

Dieting is always a talk of the town, always interesting and always important for women's. I mentioned important because it's has a very big impact of how we look our self, it doesn't really matter though what your body type, you owe it to yourself to feel comfortable in your skin. But , If you are one of many woman that have the desire to change your appearance, change your body shape one thing that you have to change first and that is your attitude. To appreciate your body is the beginning of knowing to where you need to go to achieve your goal. Right now, think of releasing yourself, come out and let go, start channeling your body.

No matter what diet plan their is, it will work for you so long as you have the right mind set. If your mentality about the models and celebrities goes like "Because they have money to pay for expensive trainings and machines" that is wrong (Oh! maybe me, LOL!) honestly that is my mentality before i read one magazine talking about this models and actresses life, they are the sames as us they work hard to get to that body, Celebrities and Models lose and gain weight just like everyone else! they live in real life when they don't have any projects, they eat pizza's and all those yummy that makes everyone fat. The women's that have most successful bodies are those that are in control and being in charge and knowing when to stop.

I have read one forum that are talking about diet, they are so guilty whenever they eat a food with few calories, they always measure of what they eat that's normal for us women's, some are taking diet pills but have some issues, some went into crash diet, oatmeal in the morning, omelet with spinach for lunch and pasta for dinner ended up disaster; Juice fasts, cabbage soup plans, and herbal fat-burning pills are still big no-No's.

If you are planning to start dieting you have to know what weight appropriate for you. Measure your Body Mass Index according to your height you will see if your body is overweight or if your healthy, if you're weight is normal then you don't need diet, this is really great way to know how many pounds you need to lose and be healthy.

You might want to try below.

Ice Water - We heard this all the time, Drink right after you wake up in the morning, eat after an hour with oatmeal then top with your favorite canned fruits such as apricot, strawberries etc... If you drink 12-ounce glasses of ice water a day, your body will burn an additional 200 calories. If you don't like the water because their is no taste you can flavor it will a bit of lemon or lime.

Carrots - Contains high level of beta carotene for protection against sun damage.

Salmon - Oh! Yum my favorite!...Rich in essential fatty acids to keep skin moisturized.

Stop Late Night Eating - Your body can't digest those late night snacks when it's at rest.

Don't Skip Meals - you'll end up eating twice as much, your metabolism will be messed up with low blood sugar levels.

Their so many ways to lose weight that are healthy, it all depend on you, you attitude. Take care of your body and be happy. Once we have that mentality that we are fat we are start thinking and end up anorexia...have you seen the billboard they have made for the campaign about anorexia? How think is too thin? this is the question and a constant battle until up until now.

Know your body and work your jeans with your body

Who doesn't love jeans? actually no it's a wrong question because there are woman's that are more of shirts and dresses but still there is always a pair of jeans in your wardrobe, woman always possess one or two pair of jeans if not lots like my sister. Jeans is comfortable ans easy to pair with your favorite top, their is always a design that fits you no matter what size you are. We all know that we all have different body type and we want to hide the other part of our body such us tummy, butt etc...it is so hard to find a pair that will show the Good part of your body and hide the part were you do not appreciate that much.
I have research some tips and collate them so that the next time go shopping you find the right kind of jeans that will appreciate your body and show some good asset without a lot of effort; How to wear pants is something that you need to know to understand more about jeans and your body. Wearing jeans is used to be so easy all you have to do is put it on and your done but now there so many styles to choose from and make us confuse because there are jeans that are not made for us.
  • Tradition - A Flat straight-leg style, this is the most flattering for every body.
  • Petite - Choose a high waisted styles to give off the illusion of longer leg.
  • Thin - Pleated trousers try mean swear it creates a much curvier leg.
  • Full Tummy - Softly draped pants fall gracefully on the body.

Here are the tips that i have collated and see which one suited you.
  1. Larger thighs - If you have a larger thighs try to wear jeans with decorative seams or pinstripes, this way the attention to your leg which looks more leaner and longer. Choose a pair of boot-cut jeans, the flare at them bottom helps a lot to minimize that appearance of thick thighs or wide hips. It is more advisable to wear it with hells, it even more minimize the look of wide hips.
  2. Large Bottom - If you have larger bottom and want it look a little smaller or minimize them think proportion. Choose a low rise cut to shorten the back end, with flare at the ankle to have balance. Pocket is the number one culprit too!, make sure that they are not decorated, small, too high, or too close together or else you look like a hippopotamus on the loose, having no pocket doesn't answer this problem either instead try to choose a pair of jeans with long and wider pocket that rest wide and low on your bottom. Vertical seams also create length instead of width.
  3. Rectangular Body type - If you have this boyish type of body and you want to add some illusion curves on your body, Tapered Jeans is for you, they are slender at calves.
  4. Big Belly - High-waisted jeans is for you, it helps create a smooth plane over the entire stomach. Don't choose a jeans with elastic waistbands they are not holding your belly, not even a jeans with decorated in front it just draw attention to your belly bulge.
  5. Short Leg - High-Waisted Trousers is best and give illusion of height. The very straight vertical lines create a slimming, lengthening look and to have add an even more length try to choose the jeans where the hemline hit the floor then wear heels.
While choosing a jeans, just make sure you take your time, try it on to make sure that it look great on you from all angles of the mirror, and make sure that it fits you very well. Shop Alone, I hate to have someone with me while doing my shopping because it took me a lot of time before i decided what i want, i want that the clothes that i bought are gonna last long for me and i won't just wear them for one occasion, Enjoy your shopping.
Buy for the body you have. Do not live with the "If only" and "It will" fits me...how many of this promises hanging in your closet right now? Probably, it lost it's style before you lose your weight, your adorable outfit is no longer in the fashion style.

Make-over from your own kitchen

But first let's define beauty.
Beauty defined as a characteristic present in a person or idea that provide a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning or satisfaction to the mind or to the eyes, arising from sensory manifestations such as a shape, color, personality etc..A Beauty is a combination of inner beauty and outer beauty.
  • Inner Beauty is psychological factors of your personality, intelligence, grace, charm and elegance.
  • Outer Beauty is Physical factors, such as health, youthfulness, symmetry, averageness and complexion.
We all have this inner beauty, if you don't have all the characteristic at least you have one or two or three. I don't think this is really hard to achieve, it's a natural.

Where as, Physical appearance needs you to take a little bet of extra effort to achieve neither by the individual or by community consensus. The Effect of this physical appearance if not achieve is resentment, dissatisfaction and very hurtful if not worse life wreaking, the individual who think they don't fit to this so called beauty ideal prefer to be banished by ostracism, or be invisible to the community.

So, to get the look and beauty we need to keep on doing something to maintain our beauty, but the standard become more and more useless that's my own opinion, the natural beauty is far gone and replaced by thinness which cause anorexia etc... anyway before i get carried aways let's do the make-over instead.

Now we know how important physical beauty is, We need to do some make-over. I received a letter in my mail box the other week and it's an invitation for make over -- Costing $1,250.00 giving an option of bi-monthly payment, installment etc...But for me, I can spend that money on clothes, foods and lots of them and i can do the make-over myself cost me nothing.

Make over your Physical Appearance using clothing is not that really hard, i have a topic about work your style: you are what you think you are -- although i was aiming this topic to the 40+ but it applies to even younger generation.

Make-Over your hair and skin using the tools you can find from your kitchen. Whip up these treatments for your skin and hair Fast, Easy and Cheap ;)

Skin Care - To achieve a clear skin like the celebrities here are the simple yet effective tips:

Ingredients you need from your kitchen:
  • 1/4 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 3 tbsp. of Milk
3 Easy Steps:
  1. Mix 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 3 tbsp. of milk in a bowl until they form a paste.
  2. Rub the Mixture gently on your face for 1 minute.
  3. Rinse well with warm water.
Note: You can also scrub your whole body using sugar or salt, do this before shower.

Hair Care - To achieve a shiny hair follow this steps:

Ingredients you need from your kitchen:
  • Peel of 1 Orange, finely chopped.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Ripe Avocado, peeled and mashed
Tools: Blender and Masher

Steps:
  1. Boil 2 cups of water with the Orange peel, finely chopped. Remove from the heat, Set aside -- let it cool down for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mashed your 1/2 ripped avocado. set it aside.
  3. Use a Blender - Place the boiled orange in, blend it for at least 1 minute until it forms a sauce.
  4. Add 1 tbsp or Olive Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar.
  5. Add the mashed Avocado and blend it for 2 minutes until totally smooth.
  6. Apply to a damp hair; Leave it for 20 minutes
  7. Rinse, Shampoo and Conditioner; And your Done.
To be beauty doesn't really need to be expensive. Be resourceful because tips like above are just as cheap, easy and good just like that!

When you Feel Beautiful, you look beautiful. When you work on your outer beauty your working your inner beauty as your boosting your confident and all other factors within you.

5 Tips to hold back the years and have a younger looking skin

Have you touched the skin of a baby? i do and many times i love the feeling it so smooth...i love kissing my baby's face and i am sure for most of the mommy too!

Taking care of our skin is not time consuming, in fact it only requires at least 20-30 minutes but the result is brilliant.

I envy those womens that have age but no one can tell, they even have a younger looking skin...sometime i think oh! well maybe they have money to pay for toning there skin and massage and all the crap you need to pay just to get that look, i admit i was wrong. There are things you can do to achieve the younger looking skin and enjoy it without spending much of your money but in natural way.
When we were young, we have skin like baby's skin -- then years added to to another years and if we have a lifestyle that never give a time to care our skin the extra wear and tear will show, sometime can cause stress to our skin showing an unhealthy and older looking Skin.
I have here at least 5 Tips to hold back the years and have a younger looking skin.
  1. Limit Your Skin Exposure - We all know that Sun is a big enemy of our skin to make worse we ended up skin cancer. Use Sunblock 15minutes before sun exposure, this helps and provides protection against the sun's damaging.
  2. Use Good Moisturizer - This is necessary for every human being, moisturizer keeps your skin elastic, healthy and protected from dry and wrinkles.
  3. Food - This is big part as well, your food diet can clear the way to have a beautiful complexion "You get the nutrients from the healthy foods you eat which can nourish your inside out" such as Sweet potatoes, salmon, sunflower seeds, Multigrain Breads and more.
  4. Face Mask - To remove the UN-even tan from your face try egg white and honey as face mask or Cucumber as cleanser (Mix the Cucumber Juice with Milk).
  5. Massage your Face - After you remove your make up use a Carrier oil and massage your face; starting from your neck to the base of your jaw bone. Here's my favorite: With your finger together, with your hands pointing up to your eye brow, hold your finger straight and firmly press with the edge of your hand both side of your nose. Hold for 3-4 seconds then slide your hands outward using your index fingers passing front of your ears then apply firm pressure hold for another 3-4 seconds. Repeat and move to your forehead.
This will surely gives you a glowing and younger looking skin. Looking after our skin is not necessarily expensive, all you have to do is use the natural way and keep on caring your skin. This lessen the sign of aging and live a healthier and happier life.

This is my first post about everything about woman since i posted my previous post clickdtalk finally came into right topic to talk about and i would like to talk about the woman in the age past forty. I decided about this topic since i have seen a lot of woman look like already given up and gone to the wrong direction talk old, walk old, think old, and dress old.

I admire those woman that that even in the age they have they still have the style and still look young, why? because they feel young (Young at heart) Best example; Demi Moore -- If you think young, you will be young. Start in your mind and works its way into your style.

What i am suggesting?
Be stylish. I am not saying that you need to spend expensive clothes and designers bags and shoes to become one, No. Set your head and mind, that's where it starts. What you need to start?
  • Positive attitude - No matter what this is really is a great weapon.
  • An Open Mind - If you try to have an open mind, you can always see the deepest meaning of things.
  • Courage to try new things - You will learn what works for you and what's not...you never know, the yellow dress that you don't want to wear looks beautiful on you.
  • The Ability to break old habit - Don't be scared to go beyond your comfort zone, many times that where you discover great things about you.
  • Get Courage to put your own individual twist on style - it's within you, you're just lack of practice and trust to your self.
  • Look at your style icon and get inspired.
  • The passion to always evolve
  • The pride and care about the way you present yourself.
  • Keep up with fashion and adapt a little of it in your look.
  • The ability to like yourself enough to make difference.
Work on your mind, think that you can be different person and not that old person that you know -- My Mum is my model, she always smile, she never think herself as old woman that is why most of the people see me, mum and my sister walk together thought that we are sisters, Don't you like the thought of that? I do, although i still have ten years to be one of forty-plus but i always want myself to still, think young, talk young and look young. Why not look Gorgeous at age forty-plus it's amazing and every woman deserved it.

Remember: It's not hard, so long as you have set your mind and willing to work for it ... you will be surprise of your new appearance. Time to do some make over, work your style.
