Sunday

Just rambling at the moment

Lazy and slack, i am -- lazy and slack. Oh! it's winter her in New Zealand and the weather is unbelievable. I cough a lot, i can't sleep properly during the night because my of my throat makes me cough.

I have not made any of my Freebie friday oh well.

This is just a rambling because my brain still can't think of anything decent to post about. anyway, lastnight, while dropping and reciprocating my entrecard i stumbled one site who copied my content from my other site www.thebuzznutter.com it's a blogging resources where i shared my blogging experiences and what i have learned online. "He acknowledge that he copy and paste my content" and linked the post to my original post, he then removed the first post that he copied and replaced them with a new copy and paste content from my site again (another post) so i sent him another message to remove my post and i don't tolerate people stealing my content (Google penalize sites with duplicated content) and it also bring your traffic down. I am glad he removed them maybe after Entrecard took a necessary action (Entrecard don't allow scraper content) so he lost traffics.

This is a great lesson for bloggers who couldn't be bothered writting he's own content...stealing content is big NO NO in the blogosphere.

Read more about this stealing content? here's the forum.

No, i am not the one who 's going to give you a tutorial, i am not capable yet lol! but, please read on...

I have my new sewing machine and i tried to learn the basic. I found this tutorial and i thought that this is really great for Mums like me. It's so easy and classy. I love to dress my kids, but i am one of those Frugal Mum.

While surfing of what i can start of making, any patterns that are free to download etc...i stumbled this list of tutorial from Sew, Mama, Sew that are so easy to follow and look like trendy. I have already bookmarked this site because i the list of tutorials are very useful.

Here's another One Tutorial that i will definitely do a Reversible handbag.

At the moment i tried to finish a cushion but it's not done yet, i will take a photo once i am done, i have difficulties with the zipper, it looks easy but when i start putting them it is hard -- maybe once i learn the trick it's not that hard. I have so much fun with my newly found hobby. Soon you will see me posting some of my project.

Do you evaluate yourself?

Its my birthday yesterday...it's just funny when my age moving out from the calendar i am not that really excited anymore, lol! maybe it's just me aye!. I remember when i was young i was so excited for my birthday, i am so excited to "grow big", yes that's my word and my son reminded me of that now.
This is me with my kids

It's like Once we where little. We have no idea, what life really means every time birthday arrives all we care is birthday party, gifts, foods, friends to come over. Back in the Philippines we have karaoke i love to sing and i want to get loud like i didn't care if my neighbor is listening to my crappy voice.

Now i am one year older again, Hmm what we care when we get to this age? I think too many...my husband asked me if how many wrinkles and gray do i have now and if i counted them? LOL! Sometimes we think its my day so i have to think just myself just for a day but the truth it never happens we always include our family to what ever we do and i am glad and so happy.
My Hubby with Daughter Chelsey

Yesterday i give myself an evaluation of my achievement over the past years...and my greatest achievement are my kids, they are so lovely and gorgeous and i have the most understanding, lovable and sensible husband. I think to every woman when you evaluate your life achievement even though you've quite really well with your career still nothing can match the greatest gift to yourself, your own family.

What do you think?
Please so share of how you evaluate yourself or do you?
what are your greatest achievement?

Reading one of the opportunity from Socialspark why they love mommy bloggers it's because ...."We love mommy bloggers! Not only do you create great content, you also send us cookies and keep our bellies full :) " so what do you think?

Do you enjoy doing it yourself?

Mum at home are very known of DIY, we tend to do everything ourselves, maybe that is why we develop or new skills or shall i call a discover new skills either way it doesn't matter.

But...this question is for everyone not just for the Mum there are Single Men and Women, Husbands that are DIY and actually loving it.
I was talking to one Mum in my sons kindergarten the other day and the usual topic for mums you know cooking, kids etc...and we tackle about DIY. We laugh about what we have achieved we DIY most of the job at home because everything is getting too expensive now a day's.

My friend Helen she's learning raising bee and she got a few jars of honey out from her bee's, she even give me one jar. Yesterday she was about to go out and look for what she can make as a house for the bee because it's already winter here in New Zealand and bee's are getting sick -- she reckon she can find something that she can build all by herself as a house for her bee. She loves doing it all by herself and i am so amaze of how she made it work. She don't have any idea about bee she just saw a bee on her tree and from then on she study about them.

She confess that she made a lot of mistake but the most rewarding of DIY is that she learned...something that no one can take it out from here.

So i ask what is your DIY experience? Do you enjoy DIY?

As for me, i enjoy doing it all by myself....i am not scared to make mistake because the more i practice the more i learn and become more wiser.

Sunday

My first avatar

I really love drawing. I remember my high school years i choose the drafting instead of cooking, crafting etc...then i get to college and i enrolled engineering, but it's quite different drawing and i never get the chance to play and draw again.

I have been downloaded a free software as i have said in my other site called inkscape and never get the chance to play with it until today. I got addicted, LOL!.

This are the images i made, i would like to show here my very first avatar using inkscape.

It's very newbie but i am happy with the result.
I would like to learn more and will not stop (When i get time that is!)

Soon you will see more of like this....what do you think?
