Hope this makes difference....

I received a chain email from my sister in law "Hope this makes difference" the other night and i remember watching about this case..can't remember when but it really is sick although we do not have the right to judge the 10 year old boys but by just thinking of killing the 3 year old kid is sick and i don't know, even until now thinking about it truly is heart breaking.

I want you to read this and if you want to share your thought please feel free. Here it goes:

Do you remember February 1993 in England , when a young boy of 3 was taken from a Liverpool shopping centre by two 10-year-old boys? Jamie Bulger walked away from his mother for only a second, Jon Venables took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy who was crying constantly for his mummy.

Finally they stopped at a railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes, pushed batteries up his anus and cut his fingers off with scissors. Other mutilations were inflicted but not reported in the press.

N.B. :- Remember, a 3year old cannot possibly defend themselves against a 10 year old, let alone of 2 them. What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's mother was forbidden to identify his body. They then left his beaten small body on railway tracks so a train could run him over to hide the mess they had created. These two boys, even being boys, understood what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look like an accident.

This week Lady Justice Butler-Sloss has awarded the two boys ( now men ), anonymity for the rest of their lives when they leave custody with new identities. They will also leave custody early only serving just over half of their sentence. They are being relocated to Australia to live out the rest of their lives. They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life away and in return they each get a new life!

Please.... . If you feel as strongly as we do, (and if you haven't already signed this petition ) that this is a grave Miscarriage of justice - Hit the forward button and add your name at the end, and send it to everyone you can !

So what do you think, this email is already out dated and sending it onward is pointless. But a reminder for every parent to not let go of your kids out of your sight even for just a second of your time.

For me, why give the two boys (Now Men) a new life in Australia -- where they horrendously taken the life of a 3 year old boy. I just can't understand.

You say no and i say yes

I love kids since i was single i look after almost all the kids of my auntie and uncle ans when i have my very first and only nephew i was so happy i actually like a mother to him, i never find any difficulty taking care of this kids until i got married and i have my own babies, gorgeous and lovely kids of mine.

My 3 years old son is gorgeous but smarty pants and i learned a lot from my son, things that i thought i know of but not...as a parents we discover something new about ourself. Everyday is lesson time to me, today i have thought of what is something is learned from my son since he will be back at school tomorrow. Anyway, Everytime my son ask me something i heard my self saying no most of the time (I am over protective mother..super) So, Here is what my smarty son say's everytime he ask something.

"Mommy, you say no and i say yes"

Lesson i learned?

...to say yes more often. When we trying to keep our kids our kids safe we never notice that we become over the top, my son thought that i am playing. We need to send the message clearly to our kids, we need to go down to their level.

So, the next time he wants to play on the fire while he's Dad is preparing the barbecue i never say no anymore...(hang on! you let your kids play on the fire now!? you might think-- of course not!) I lay down my house rules. Even he's three years old we need to give them simple rules to keep them safe. The younger the better. One rule that works out very well with me and my kids is ...

"when where out i ask him to hold on the babies stroller while walking on the road and when we cross the street we need to stop on the side of the road apply the "stop, look and listen" rules...make sure that there is no car coming, because we don't want car to hit us"

I tried to make my kids learn everything around them, i let them explore and be an adventurous and active kids so that the more they become bigger the more they become independent but with self discipline and confident but we need to stick to our rules as a parent and remember to say yes more often of else "You say no and they say yes"

Teaching our children about money

Teaching our kids the principles and skills that they need in terms of managing their money is very important for their future. You don't need to be an expert in this area to start your kids, all you need is an inspiration and the desire to discipline your kids with their money.

I always remember what my parents have taught me or even how my husband handle he's money (I think he's better than me, because i have this typical woman thing--when i see clothes, bag or shoes that i like...i can't sleep) my husband is in control with he's money, this is what i want to develop with our kids. Motivation and time is all you need to introduce this idea's to your kids.

I have here a few idea's to each our kiddo about money.

Situation: We have an agreement with our 3 yrs. old son that he can earn money by helping mommy or daddy by doing some task and whatever amount that he saves from he's money tin we will double that in the end of the year.

We used a jar to save he's money and sealed it, this way he can see he's money growing and that encourage him more.

Important: you have to explain to your kids that their are also task that don't need to get paid and this is what we called "normal/daily task" such as getting change, make their bed etc.. but other than that they can earn.

Lesson we get:

1. We teach our kids the value of money and that "money don't grow out of the tree" - Work hard and get rewarded.
2. Encourage our kids to save money for things they want but in fun way.
3. We are teaching our kids about interest in simple way, he's money earns an interest by just sitting in the jar.

Although this is very simple there are other things we can do specially to the older kids:

• Talk to them about money, bills and show them your weekly expenses, show them how much money you make - this tech the kids where the money go and "why can't we just give them one when they want one" this give them a lasting lesson about the value of money.
• Be Supportive and consistent with your rules and agreements - once it's set, show them that you mean it, you stick to it and that you support them.
• Encourage them to open a bank account - Once they earned money, saved money...Now is the time you encourage them to open their own bank account (They will get excited about this).
• Explain about interest - This is your chance to explain more further about making their money grow, Best example "I will borrow your money for a month, i will pay you an interest. You money will grow from $10 to $11" explain why.
• Record Keeping - encourage them to keep a book that intended only for their financial records, record their income and expenditures, show them (Make it fun) and show them how to keep on track of their money.

Their's so much we can do to teach our children about money, me an my husband are having fun. There are times that my son don't do any task and we tell him like "Son i don't see you earning money today" and he start going to the kitchen and drying the plates...it's fun, but most of all you are molding your children and helping them developing their money management skills.

This is Issue is Sizzling Hot! After i watched the evening news last night me and my husband where talking about the New Zealand Law about anti smacking, is it really working or does it striping all the right of parents to be parent?

I read books about positive discipline, but there are times that we need an immediate action in a certain matter, Parent must establish some rules and boundaries and if one child did not follow that rules in a certain case that so risky, being a parent that love their kids must have certain to address the situation right there and then. Children must first learn to respect parents and vice versa.

Looking at the side of the Law In New Zealand there so much Instances that parents killed their kids by smacking in their own home, One child abused is one child too many. Children do have a right to be free from harm & abuse.
