Hope this makes difference....

I received a chain email from my sister in law "Hope this makes difference" the other night and i remember watching about this case..can't remember when but it really is sick although we do not have the right to judge the 10 year old boys but by just thinking of killing the 3 year old kid is sick and i don't know, even until now thinking about it truly is heart breaking.

I want you to read this and if you want to share your thought please feel free. Here it goes:
Do you remember February 1993 in England , when a young boy of 3 was taken from a Liverpool shopping centre by two 10-year-old boys? Jamie Bulger walked away from his mother for only a second, Jon Venables took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy who was crying constantly for his mummy.

Finally they stopped at a railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes, pushed batteries up his anus and cut his fingers off with scissors. Other mutilations were inflicted but not reported in the press.

N.B. :- Remember, a 3year old cannot possibly defend themselves against a 10 year old, let alone of 2 them. What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's mother was forbidden to identify his body. They then left his beaten small body on railway tracks so a train could run him over to hide the mess they had created. These two boys, even being boys, understood what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look like an accident.

This week Lady Justice Butler-Sloss has awarded the two boys ( now men ), anonymity for the rest of their lives when they leave custody with new identities. They will also leave custody early only serving just over half of their sentence. They are being relocated to Australia to live out the rest of their lives. They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life away and in return they each get a new life!

Please.... . If you feel as strongly as we do, (and if you haven't already signed this petition ) that this is a grave Miscarriage of justice - Hit the forward button and add your name at the end, and send it to everyone you can !

If you are the 700th person to sign, please forward this e-mail to: cust.ser.cs@gtnet.gov.uk and mark it for the attention it to Lady Justice Butler-Sloss.

Then continue on until it hits 1400, before you email her the list again. There is power in numbers & these petitions do help. Maybe it'll prevent another child from a violent death & maybe it'll get greater, more appropriate convictions for these criminals....whatever their age.

Please take a few seconds to forward it to your mail list & don't forget to add your name to the list. Thank you.

End of the mail.

So what do you think, this email is already out dated and sending it onward is pointless. But a reminder for every parent to not let go of your kids out of your sight even for just a second of your time.

For me, why give the two boys (Now Men) a new life in Australia -- where they horrendously taken the life of a 3 year old boy. I just can't understand.

  1. I read up on this case recently on http://www.crimelibrary.com and I seriously felt disgusted that children as young as 10 or 13 years old know how to kill. I wonder why they are let out of jail or even given a new life. But I guess if they do have a conscience, they will be tortured for life thinking about what they had done. And that is an even greater punishment to them. I hope they really repent. But I would just like to ask them a question : "How will you feel if its your kid being tortured and killed?"

  2. Oh God..

Firstly, may I copy and edit this post? I will give a link to your site if I posted it on my blog. I am quite interested in this article. Your quick reply would be appreciated. (before I am going on holiday tomorrow :)

For your information, 2007 was ended very badly in Malaysia. Other than the first street protest held in Malaysia in the decade, a eight year old kid was kidnapped in her way to the market, alone. After a month of missing, they finally found her dead body in a sports bag (!). There were bruises and marks of sexual abused.

Entering 2008, there was a highly publicize case surface once again in the media. Another girl has gone missing. This time the victim is five-year-old girl who disappeared while playing about 200m from her house. And until now, the girl is still missing.

I am not the one to judge people. However, I am pretty sure that the parents here are ignorant about the danger their kids are facing at the time they are too busy working. As you said, every parent must not let your kids out of your sight. No one can guess the danger that awaited them.

  3. Bluecrystaldude, yes you can copy this post.

This story helps parents realize the seriousness of danger. Our kids are only dependent to us, they are helpless and We as a parent are the only one can protect them...how can we if we just let them out of our just for just a second and their gone, It's unforgivable.

  4. Hi! themuxicbox,I was actually watching the uncut of this trial on crime investigation and it seems like this kids (grown up already, when they've shown on tv) have not repented, they seems like no conscience...i was thinking maybe because they were so young while they commit this crime and have not aware the seriousness of the crime or what...we cannot judge, we cannot tell on this young boys mind feeling -- but all we can do is pray for there soul.

All i know is that i don't want like them in my neigborhood (It's scary!)
