Have a Break and Have a laugh!

Every now and then we need a good laugh, it's like an exercise for our muscles. Please enjoy this few exercises and i really love to know which one is your favorite.

What would you prefer - A cheap vacuum or a quality that do the job

Being a mother of two little one's i need to keep my house clean especially with my 1 year old daughter, she picks up everything on the floor and put them on her mouth. I have to vacuum everyday but whats the pain is that the vacuum cleaner that we have is not heavy duty it's a crappy vacuum cleaner. I always caught my daughter munching something and when i look at what is in her mouth it's her food last night that probably have fell in the floor and that because the vacuum suction is not working that good. I guess theirs a lot of mommy can relate this situation.

Back in the Philippines where i was born, we don't use vacuum cleaner we only use broom to clean our floor so i am not really that good of choosing vacuum cleaner. One day, that vacuum cleaner just didn't work...so i used the broom we have to clean the floor because i really have to remove the stuff on the floor or else my daughter will feast the crumbs on the floor again (She is so quick!) Anyway, while thinking of buying a vacuum the next day i was searching for a little bit of information to help me choose a good quality vacuum cleaner. A Dyson vacuum cleaner is what i was looking for, i read the features, specifications, and even read the testimonial page which gives me a complete idea of the company and the product.

I don't mind investing my money in a good quality machine, because i know i can save money by doing that and that because it's going to last long and most important is that it actually do a good job.

FabricCuts Online Marriage is a partnership. A joint account should be considered. Of course, the rules must first be agreed. Whoever is in charge is not the issue. Both must keep the budget as promised. However, should there be a time when a "break" is necessary, both will get 50:50. That's being fair.

Dusty When I was working for a Big 4 accounting firm, the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was worry about our finances. As such, my wife took care of everything and she did an incredible job. Now that I work for a smaller company, and work less hours, I took over the financial responsibilities.

Do I do a better job? Not really! I simply track everything so we can see where we are spending our money. By doing so, we were able to cut our spending down and even pay off most of the credit cards. We even made a rule that if something costs more than $50, the other person has to "approve" the purchase BEFORE it is made. This tends to cut down on stupid arguments and such nonsense.

dave I don't recall anywhere in my comment that the wife or girlfriend has to hand over her money to the husband. Read properly before getting your back up and accusing, Re-read my comment, It states that a man is responsible for the bills in the household. I also commented that the woman should help financially. If the woman is working then obviously she will be responsible for paying the bills.

Jodith Pffft...and what business does a man have with his wife's/girlfriend's money?

My opinion is that whoever handles money the best should be the one who handles the money. If it's her, then she should. If it's him, then he should.

My dad couldn't handle money to save his life, so my mom took care of all the finances. I, however, take after my father, so my husband is the one who handles the bills and the money. *looks askance at Dave* And just for your information...*I'm* the one who brings home the bacon. The husband stays home and takes care of things. We both do what we do best for our home and relationship and this works best for us.

dave The man of the house wears the pants and pays the bills, Its a mans responsibility to take care of the family. If the wife works, Its up to her to help the family financially, More so now because the prices of everything are going up drastically. My opinion is that a woman has no business with her Boyfriends/Husbands money.

Which Human race you think you belong too?

It's been a while since i post something funny so i thought i will share this one. My sister in law sent me another funny email here it goes.

A little girl asked her father, 'How did the human race appear?'

The father answered, 'God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so was all mankind made.'

Two days later the girl asked her mother the same question.

The mother answered, 'Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved.'

The confused girl returned to her father and said, 'Dad, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Mom said they developed from monkeys?'

The father answered, 'Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your mother told you about hers.'

It is a common practice a long time ago that the wife stays at home, looking after the kids, taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning etc...including budgeting while the husband provides the money for the family -- to put a roof under there head, to buy some clothes to wear and food to eat. The Husband then gives the wages to the wife to budget.

I said a long time ago because now a days, these have changed. In a more liberal country the wives are out working especially when petrol, food and clothing are getting more and more expensive -- A family cannot afford to have one income under one roof. Now that there are two incomes in one household, the husbands are no longer giving all the wages to the wives, instead in a more practical manner they split the responsibility. In the other side of the world especially in Asia, wives are now slowly adapting this practice...Wives are working aswell to provide a more satisfying life...but in the end, the husband still gives there wages to there wifes to do some budgeting etc...i do not want to generalize though because not in all cases now a days this happens.

There are some cases where the husband did not entrust the money to the wife anymore, there are wives that are very materialistic and use the money for there own needs such as perfumes, jewelry's, clothing that she doesn't need etc...instead of providing it to the needs of the whole family. Cases like this change the whole mentality of men towards woman. The Husbands are now very defensive with there wages, If the wife asked for the money the husband will ask what for? We have done our weekly shopping, we have just bought winter clothes etc...what do want the money for? Women and money can be dangerous, there are cases where wives mis-used the money, In the other hand, Some men have bad habits which could end up losing money for the family.

Now, i would like to open this discussion to my visitors, i would really like to see how many husbands and wives are in this situation and/or even if you are not married but have some fair say about this topic.

Professional bloggers are extreme, they work 24/7. Have you read the news NY TImes, In Web World of 24/7 Stress, Writers Blog Till They Drop....they died blogging, heart attack, exhausted and cannot take it to the next level their game is over.

I wonder how many that we didn't know have died because of blogging?

server not found 404, what to do

Isn't it annoying when it's almost the end of your night and you encountered problem with your site? especially when you really care the drop on your entrecard because it's going to push your rank up higher on your category.

The other night my husband site cannot be found "Server not found" this ends us up getting in bed really late around 2:00am.

How we solved it?
My husband bought a domain name from Google and still using blogspot as host which is i am glad because it is more faster and easier to fix especially for a non techie person like us.

Here's how we resolved the problem (this is to those that have bought their domain from google and still using blogspot as their host)

1. Go to your dashboard
2. Setting
3. then click publishing - from there you can click switch to blogspot.com
4. it then will show you that it's successfully switched.
5. You can then switch to custom domain again -- that should be fixed.

I decided to post it so that everyone will know, so that at least if you get to the same situation you know how to deal with it.... i am glad we able to fix it but funny though, because it took us many hours try to find why, what to do, what to do.... and the solution is not even a minute (happens all the time).

Maryann was absent December 11-16, because she had a fever, sore throat, headache and upset stomach. Her sister was also sick, fever and sore throat, her brother had a low grade fever and ached all over. I wasn't the best either, sore throat and fever. There must be something going around, her father even got hot last night.
