Mum Who Microwaved her Daughter is Finally Convicted

In the BBC News yesterday reported that the jury have finally announced it's verdict to a 28 years old Mum who killed her one month old daughter by the death of microwave oven and the verdict is guilty.
I know some of you have read about this but i just can't help to share being a mother and human, no matter how angry or problematic person you are doing a thing like this especially to the most innocent human on earth don't deserve any forgiveness.

I was reading this and feel sick, a one month old baby burned to death in a microwave oven. How can a mother do this to an innocent baby? her cellmate told the court about her confession she said that the reason she put her daughter in the microwave and switching it on is that because she was afraid of losing her boyfriend and would leave her if he will found out that he is not the father of the baby. The defense attorney claims that there was evidence that someone else was responsible with this but was rejected by the juror.

She never showed any emotion after hearing the verdict, she just lowered her head.

Excuse Me?

I must admit that i am not flirty sort of women but in my college years for 5 years in the Philippines i hang around with boys that is because i studied Industrial Engineering and there are only 4 girls in the whole class. I always see the way the boys flirt with the Business and Medical Students and it's kind of funny especially when they start their Pickup lines -- if you hang around with boys you can easily pick up the pick up lines and not and that's were the fun begins. I have hared a few pick up line they usually use such as "I'm sorry, were you talking to me? Her: No. Well then, please start." or "Are you as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside?" i remember them now because i came across this fun game from Extreme Style by VO5 which conducting an Ultimate Flirting Championship okay the title speaks itself and the winner will get Victory Hair title.

To understand more about this game and how it work i suggest to play the game, you are the judge and you pick the question and choose the answer that you like most. If you are ready to play the fun game just click the play live now button or if you want you can get the widget and place them on your site and let your visitor play this fun game as well.

I was surfing cooliris today and stumble this news, it's quite old but i just thought it's worth to share. A man Wishes to be remain standing even in death and so that family grants he's wish -- during he's wake he's family prop he's body and lean it against a wall of he's mothers house.

One mistake that i did over and over again when i design a template is to check the template from different browser, i always do that annoys me. Lucky me, Luckygirl told me about the problem, the content was pressed outside my notebook background but now is fixed and decided not to use that background anymore; anyway, i went at Make Every Day Your Lucky Day site and she's having a Birthday Give away, i must admit that i am "not" super lucky girl in my entire life i never win in any contest so every time there is contest running i just not join but this time i decided to join why? because the give-away is lovely and i want to have one, lovely pendant.

There so many blogger have joined already but i will push my luck, finger's cross and Hope to get lucky this time.

We Learn From Our Kids

Finally done my make over, what do you think guys? I may have few changes along the way but i am happy with the result of my template --P.S if you want make over please contact me.

Update: I thought i have done it! :( thanks to Luckygirl, she informed me about the problem)

Anyway, My Son turn four (4) yesterday and it's so amazing kids now a days know what they want...a few days before he's birthday my husband and i ask him of what he wants he says he wants batman the one he saw in Nickelodeon and i thought that he might only say it only that day because just seen the ads the next day, we ask him again but still he stuck with what he wants...anyways, my husband bought the batman hotwheels exactly the one that he like and i wrapped it yesterday after he un-wrapped the presents he say's oh! this what i said i wants and he was so thankful and played it for very long time.

it's amazing how this age shows their wants and how they stick to it, if i will compare my self to my son i can't say what i want, my husband asked me if what i want on my birthday and i just said what ever you want to give me is fine so i got nothing lol! ooh! life is funny sometime -- i think it's true that we learn from our kids as they learn from us and as much as i enjoy my every minute with my kids, i think i will grab every opportunity to learn from them aswell because it's great and worth to take.

What about you? what is your experiences with your kids that teach you in the process aswell?

Nag Your Partner Treating Them Like Your Kids

What usually the common mistake the partner done to their married life? i don't know, i actually have no answer about that -- i am not an expert or an experienced wife either to answer that question but their are points i would like to share, either you agree with me or you can share your thoughts here.

Have you encountered a wife who nag to their husband or the other way around, treating them like their kids? I don't agree with this and in my opinion this is not acceptable and that's where the fight starts when you start nagging with your husband/wife.

For me why nag with your husband or wife? You both already grown ups when you meet each other. What i have noticed is when the woman is much older than the men this type of situation always occur, i have observe some couple and i won't name them; but the explanation maybe because the maturity level of woman is three years higher than men? i don't know but this is what i believe.

I think if your in this situation say for example your partner did not meet your expectation in a certain matter the best way to deal with this is to sit down and talk about it, you both are adult and can understand more by talking.

Please share your side of story or your thought about this matter.

Stay at Home with the Kids or Travel with Hubby?

I remember my conversation with my friend a few days now. She told me about her wanting to travel to a lot of places but her husbands been to a lot of places and tired of traveling he would rather settle down and stay in one place. She said she envied woman who have been to places but i told her not to envy with there life because she have a friend who actually travel with her husband, he workd overseas and she come with him -- the kids goes with them or during schools days they stay with care taker while the parents are away.

In my opinion this is something not to envy because it's a difficult situation, When you become a mother your priority is doubled, you need to attend the needs of your kids as well as your husband. The problem when your husbands traveled a lot and you want to come with him as a mother you miss the opportunity you have with the kids...time runs so fast, kids grow so quick the next time you know they are grown ups and you miss the time to play with them and laugh with them. I explained to her that if she wants to travel why not wait until the kids have grown and their own life and she and her husband can enjoy the retirement stage this is the stage where you can start going to the places you want to go and be with your hubby without anything in your mind.

When you're married and have kids as a mother you have to have to think of what do you want with your life in general including your husband and kids, sometimes sacrifices need to be made. I will be in this position one day, my husband's job is un-predictable today he's in one country next time you know he will be called for a job in Thailand or Guam.

What are you going to do if your in this position?
Please do share your experiences and your thoughts...i would love to hear them or even discuss it here....as with my friend we still have carry on with this conversation every time we meet and talk.

Dinner Time battle

I thought i am the only Mum who have a dinner battle with my 4 years son, me and my husband have tried a lot of ways, but not working. He is fine with breakfast and lunch but when it comes with dinner he just don't eat them or if you let him he will sit in front of he's food for 2 hours. One Mum friend of mine suggested to give my kids an option of what to eat during dinner but i don't want that way, i want my kids to learn to eat what's in the table and not to be fussy. I heard one mum who dished up three type of food because her kids are fussy and she give in to the battle. I really admire my Mum and even wonder how she manage all four of us ... we eat what she dished up even vege's, we learn to love the food we hate. I supposed i need to experience the stage most parents have experience to be able to grow and one day i can say been there, done that but at the moment i need to enjoy my moment and continue facing my battle.

I saw this ad and it's so cute, i wish this to happen with my son.

Great resources of fun for kids

Do you let your kids go online? I let my son play online because i noticed that he learned a lot, of course at he's age turning to four (4yrs. Old) i choose the site that he is allowed and timed aswell.
There are times that i won't let him go online and instead i downloaded a few educational games for him. I always like to see my kids excel academically and i think letting him play educational games molding he's mind and in a fun way. He always surprises me when new things and i always asked him where did he learn them (Of course, i know where) but i want to know if he knows where he pick them up.

I would like to share this to all parents...great resource for your kids fun time.
